EDWARD L. BARROW, CPA
Mr. Barrow passed away on September 1, 2018. He was the firm's founder and practiced for over 40 years in public accounting serving individuals, businesses and governmental/nonprofit clients. Mr. Barrow graduated from East Carolina University. He was a past president of the Coastal Plains Chapter of CPA's, past president of the Kinston Rotary, former treasurer of the Kinston Arts Council and also the Kinston Rotary Club. He was a member of the Lenoir Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees from September 1987 to January 1998 and served as Chairman from 1992 until the end of his tenure on the Board. His many years of tireless service to his clients and community are a legacy that will continue to be an integral part of the character of Barrow, Parris & Davenport, P.A.

Mr. Parris is a shareholder of the firm, and has been with the firm for over 25 years serving individuals, businesses, and governmental/nonprofit clients. Mr. Parris also heads the firm's retirement plan development and administration services. He is a graduate of East Carolina University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the North Carolina Association of CPA's; past Vice President of Business Development, Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce; and past Secretary, Kinston Evening Rotary; and is a member of Westminster United Methodist Church where he serves on the Finance Committee. Mr. Parris resides in Kinston with his wife Amy, and children Reed and Reena.

Mr. Davenport is a shareholder in the firm, and has been practicing in Eastern NC for over 25 years. Mr. Davenport has been with the firm since 1993 serving individuals, businesses and governmental/nonprofit clients. He is a graduate of East Carolina University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA's, and the North Carolina Association of CPA's. Mr. Davenport resides in Lenoir County with his wife Christy, and children Trent and Amber.
